Save the Children initiated programs in Zambia in 1989. Through our program activities in Health, HIV and AIDS, Education, Child Rights Governance, and Child Protection, Save the Children is working towards achieving Save the Children’s mission of inspiring breakthroughs in the way the world treats children, and to achieve immediate and lasting change in their lives.
PROGRAM FUNDING AND PARTNERS
Save the Children programs and activities are funded by a broad base of donors including SIDA, USAID, NORAD, and other private donors. SC partners with Federal, Provincial and District level government offices, UN agencies, international and local NGOs and community/faith based organizations amongst others.
